Following continued growth and client demand, we are looking for a Assistant Project Manager with a strong background in construction management/Contract Administration, who can pick up projects ranging from $1Mill to $10Mill+ and work within a dynamic and highly functional team .

 

The immediate requirements of this position will be in the childcare or early learning sector. BDS Projects have a portfolio of work across a range of different sectors, the successful applicant will have opportunities to work across a range of these. 

 

 

Key deliverables for this role will be to:

 

  • Complete project specific activities to aid in the acheivement of project completion
  • Assist in managing contract awarded builder from site establishment to project completion (including organising and chairing site/project meetings) to ensure builder meets project timelines and completion dates
  • Undertake cost analysis to produce project budgets
  • Assess pricing submissions for works
  • Complete and issue comprehensive sets of minutes to the relevant stakeholders
  • Manage multiple stakeholders in a project
  • Create reports for management review
  • Identify, oversee, monitor and manage specific project issues and update risk registers
  • Actively manage safety issues to ensure timely corrective action is taken
  • Issue and manage tender submissions
  • Multi task across a range of projects
  • Identify and prioritise key goals
  • Engage and communicate with the client, as required
